![]() (Courtesy of Minard Coons) Great Hollywood history here ! Above is a postcard that was sent in response to letters from RB fans. Note there are 8 pictures to choose from, and you can get "one for two-bits" or "3 of 'em for 4-bits" to cover the postage. Note also the mailing address of the RB at 1440 N. Gower St., Hollywood, California. Special thanks to Jerry L. Schneider who has the great Movie-Making Locations Guide website that you'll find among our links. Jerry lives in sunny California and made a trip to check out that Gower Street mailing address. He reports: "1440 is part of a multi-story business building and at least for the past 20 years or more, it has been the home to a theatrical makeup retailer. Behind the building and to the south of it is the site of the old Columbia Pictures Studios (now known as Sunset-Gower Studios)." Below is a snapshot of that building which Jerry took: ![]() (Courtesy of Jerry Schneider) |
