(Courtesy of Les Adams) After the demise of Monogram's Trail Blazers series, Bob Steele and Hoot Gibson paired up and did three films at Monogram under a production setup headed by veteran Lindsley Parsons. The threesome are: MARKED TRAILS (Monogram, 1944), THE UTAH KID (Monogram, 1944), and the lost/missing TRIGGER LAW (Monogram, 1944). After these were completed, Gibson retired and Steele went to PRC for a series.
