Chris Willow Bird's film career began in silents and ended in early 1960s movies and TV shows.

There were a couple of family trees on ancestry.com, and one tree listed his birth place as San Ildefonso Pueblo, Santa Fe, New Mexico.

From Wikipedia: "San Ildefonso Pueblo is a member of the Eight Northern Pueblos, and the pueblo people are from the Tewa ethnic group of Native Americans, who speak the Tewa language."

He was born Hilario Pino on February 20, 1887 in Santa Fe County, New Mexico, and his tribal affiliation was San Ildefonso Pueblo.

Found no death or funeral notices for Chris or his wife Mina (1884 - 1974) at the newspaper websites. Birth record, census, and death indexes were available.
