(From Old Corral collection)
The Cassidy films sported some memorable baddies, several of which were portrayed by actors that would become more well known - in addition to Robert Mitchum, there was Lee J. Cobb (billed as 'Lee Colt') and Victor Jory.

But the most prolific of the Hoppy antagonists was the snearing, just plain mean Stephen Morris (shown in the photo left). In later life - and using his real name of Morris Ankrum - he did scores of Sci-Fi films (most often as a military officer) and TV appearances (a judge on the PERRY MASON TV show). There's more on Morris Ankrum/Stephen Morris in the Villains & Supporting Players section on the Old Corral.
