Above from left to right are sidekick Eddie Acuff, heroine Kay Aldridge, hero Allan Lane and Daniels in full Indian wardrobe in Republic's 1943 DAREDEVILS OF THE WEST cliffhanger.  A few years later, Lane would assume the role of Red Ryder in the Republic series when Wild Bill Elliott was moved to A-features.  After the Ryder films ended, he would become "Rocky" Lane in a long-running series at Republic.  Later still, Lane was the voice of the horse in the TV comedy MR. ED.

Daniels as "Yellow Wolf" provides support to the masked hero in Republic's 1946 serial THE PHANTOM RIDER. Behind the ridiculous mask is the serial star, Robert Kent.

Another scene as "Yellow Wolf" from THE PHANTOM RIDER (1946) chapterplay.

Right are Chief Thunder Cloud (Victor Daniels) and Eddie Dean in a scene from ROMANCE OF THE WEST (PRC, 1946), one of the several westerns starring singing cowboy Dean that were done in Cinecolor.
