 Kerm's series for producer Maurice Conn began with mountie films, and here he (and trusty steed Rocky) are in a scene from WILDCAT TROOPER (Ambassador-Conn, 1936). His helper on the far right is comedian Fuzzy Knight, and Kerm is giving aid to Olympic champion Jim Thorpe, who played a number of Indian roles in westerns during the 1930s. As an adult, Dick Jones was TV's BUFFALO BILL JR. and the helper to Jock Mahoney in THE RANGE RIDER TV show.
