The Family Search website and other sources provide more on Tim Holt and family:

Marriages, divorces, and children:

  • Tim's first wife was Virginia Ashcraft, the daughter of C. S. Ashcraft whose company manufactured projection lamps. The C. S. Ashcraft company was headquartered in Long Island, New York. Trade publications have Virginia and Tim tying the knot on December 10, 1938. Son Lance Randolph Holt was born January 15, 1940. Tim and Virginia divorced in Summer, 1944.
  • July 5, 1944 issue of Variety carried news of Tim's second marriage: "Alice Harrison to Lieut. Tim Holt, El Paso, Tex., June 24 (1944). Groom was a film player before joining the Army." They divorced circa 1952.
  • Tim married Berdee Stephens in 1952. That relationship worked and they had three children (Jack, Jay and Bryanna).
