One of the more noticeable gunbelts is the multi-colored rig worn by Yakima Canutt ... which was borrowed by Reb Russell, and a couple photos below illustrate this.

(From Old Corral collection)

Above - Lane Chandler battles stuntman and supporting player Yakima Canutt in BATTLING BUCKAROO (Kent, 1932). Note that Canutt is wearing his traditional, and multi-colored, gunbelt.

Above from L-to-R are Chuck Baldra, Jack Jones, hero Reb Russell is in the middle (with his drawstring shirt with horseshoes on the collar), then Jack Kirk, and on the far right is Yakima Canutt.  From FIGHTING THROUGH (Willis Kent, 1934), Russell's second starring western. Appears Reb is wearing Canutt's multi-colored gunbelt.

Another example is the double gun rig worn by Lee Powell in the original THE LONE RANGER (Republic, 1938) serial.  That was also worn by Bob Livingston in the sequel, THE LONE RANGER RIDES AGAIN (Republic, 1939). And it must have been part of the Republic inventory, as it was worn several other times, including Duncan Renaldo (without the left holster) in KING OF THE TEXAS RANGERS (Republic, 1941). Note photos below:

Above, Lee Powell with the Wallace Bros. Circus, circa 1942. Looks like the same/similar gunbelt that he wore in the first LR serial.
